Rick Hogg is the owner of War HOGG Tactical, Inc. and is a 29 year US Army Special Operation Combat Veteran that has taken his 13 combat deployment, both Iraq and Afghanistan, and teaching experience as a Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat instructor and harnessed them into a proven training methodology service company, War HOGG Tactical, Inc.War HOGG Tactical, Inc. offers professional comprehensive mobile firearms, tactical and K9 training to law abiding civilians, military and law enforcement agencies through combat proven techniques and experience to improve the students skill ability. War HOGG also conducts product development and product field testing along with a verity of consulting services in the defense and firearms industry.

Mike is a 22 year retired Army Veteran. The last 12 years of his career was with 5th Special Forces Group (A) where he was an 18C Engineer and 18Z Operations Sergeant. Mike retired in 2017 and is currently working as an independent contractor, primarily working with USASOC elements. He is also the owner of Zulu Ops Tactical Solutions LLC, applying his approach to equipment, training and modern day survivability, based out of Pensacola, Florida. Current endeavors outside of Zulu Ops include being a Battle Boss for The Tactical Games and instructor with Socom Athlete. To be asked to join the ATACS team is an absolute honor! DOL! Michael Green is the owner of Green Ops ( and has over 30 years combined experience in Special Operations, Law Enforcement and the Security field. He served as a Green Beret with U.S. Army Special Forces, worked overseas on security and sensitive US Government contracts for multiple agencies and has been teaching tactical firearms since 1992. As a firearms Subject Matter Expert (SME) he is currently hosting and co-producing his fifth season on a National Television show (Trigger Time TV).

Michael Green has over 30 years combined experience in Special Operations, Security, Law Enforcement and Intelligence fields. He served as a Green Beret with U.S. Army Special Forces, worked overseas on security and intelligence contracts for multiple US Government agencies and has been teaching tactical firearms since 1992. As a firearms Subject Matter Expert (SME) he is currently hosting and co-producing his third season on a National Television show (Trigger Time TV) that is aired weekly with up to 45 million potential viewers, with an estimated reach of 20 million unduplicated homes in the US.

During his 15 years in Special Forces, Michael served three years as an Assaulter in a CINC’s In-extremis Force (CIF) providing Counter-Terrorism and Quick Reaction Force (QRF) capabilities. He Provided Advanced Marksmanship, Close Quarters Combat (CQC) training to US and Foreign forces. Later, he also served as an instructor for the Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat (SFAUC) Course where he taught Advanced Marksmanship and Close Quarters Combat (CQC) training courses.

After leaving the military, Michael transitioned to the private security sector and has been on numerous overseas US Government and security contracts since 2004. Additionally, he has served as the primary instructor for the process of vetting new security operators and advanced training for US Government organizations. He developed, reviewed, evaluated and managed a new comprehensive training curriculum specifically designed for concealed carry for operations worldwide.

He holds Master classifications in IDPA and USPSA along with multiple firearms instructor ratings from the US Government, NRA, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, US Army, and many other civilian entities.



Aquil Bey, is a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army with over 22 years of service. He split the majority of those years as a Special Forces Engineer Sergeant and Special Forces Senior Operations Sergeant with 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) at Fort Campbell, KY. As an Engineer, Aquil served as an Assaulter, Sniper/Observer and Breacher in a specialized, Tier 2 Direct Action and Counter-Terrorism company. Upon promotion to Master Sergeant, he was handpicked as the Company Operations Sergeant to train, prepare and lead a newly formed, 87-Soldier, Special Forces Company, on its first combat deployment in the Global War on Terror. Following this operation, he served as the Detachment Operations Sergeant on a multi-missioned Special Forces Operational Detachment-Alpha, specializing in Direct Action, Special Reconnaissance, Unconventional Warfare, Combat Search and Rescue and Advanced Special Operations Techniques. There he successfully led several deployments spanning semipermissive, non-permissive and hostile environments until his retirement in 2013. Once retired, Aquil was recruited as the Director of Global Security and Safety for Under Armour, Inc. in Baltimore, MD. There, he was responsible for the safety and security for over 15,000 domestic and foreign based employees around the world. During his tenure at Under Armour, Aquil spearheaded several programs which ensured the safety and physical security of employees, board members and athletes contracted with the Brand. He is credited with establishing the global emergency action and communications program, which facilitated a streamlined response and communication process. This program was invaluable as it minimized negative impact to employees and ensured the continuity of operations. In addition to these programs, Aquil developed and completed a threat vulnerability assessment of every Under Armour corporate office and distribution facility around the world. These assessments were instrumental in identifying real and perceived risks and vulnerabilities to safety and physical security and directed available resources where they were needed most. This program delivered a prioritized, yet flexible approach to mitigating risks to the company and had minimal impact to day-to-day operations. Aquil founded the Tailored Defense Training Group in order to pursue his passion to mitigate the effects of violent crimes through the delivery of awareness and self-defense training programs to law-abiding citizens. He leverages his leadership, training and experience obtained throughout his civilian and military careers, in which he was awarded four Bronze Star Medals, the Navy Presidential Unit Citation, three Army Presidential Unit Citations and the Combat Infantryman’s Badge for his actions while achieving tactical and strategic objectives during the Global War on Terror. He is a Department of Defense trained Anti-Terrorism Officer and maintains a host of Special Operational skill sets regarding counter-terrorism, counter-insurgency and stability operations. Aquil is an appointed Regional Training Counselor for crime prevention as well as licensed firearms and use of force instructor. He works closely with local Police Departments, Neighborhood Associations and non-profit organizations in area crime prevention and completes threat vulnerability assessments for small and large businesses in order to assist them with the development of their company’s emergency response and actions plans and training programs.



Chief Cervantes founded the company in 2006 and have been providing Top Notch services to defense, Federal and Local Law Enforcement agencies. Also provide services for Private Industry and community outreach programs. Planned and conducted Kidnapping for Ransom (K&R) and Human Trafficking Recovery Operations around the world.

Retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 3 (CW3) from a Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha (SFODA). He served 17 years in the U.S. Military; of that time three years were spent serving as an infantryman. Then he attended the United States Army Special Forces Qualification Course becoming a fully qualified Special Forces Weapons Expert. He served as a weapons sergeant and Intelligence Sergeant for a Special Forces Operational Detachment Alpha (SFODA) specializing in Direct Action for four years before becoming a Special Forces Warrant Officer.
